GMTC Australia – Hotel Booking Platform for Conference Delegates
1. Introduction
Welcome to GMTC Australia’s hotel booking platform. By using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your booking.
2. Scope of Services
GMTC Australia provides a platform for conference delegates to book hotels at preferred rates. Our role is limited to facilitating bookings and managing reservations per the terms outlined herein.
3. Booking Confirmation
All hotel bookings made through GMTC Australia are subject to availability and confirmation by the hotel. A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of a confirmation email from GMTC Australia. Bookings are managed under the group block, and the hotel confirmation number will be updated three weeks prior to check-in.
4. Payment Terms
a. Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise specified.
b. Payments must be made via the accepted payment methods as displayed on the platform.
c. All prices are quoted in AUD unless stated otherwise.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
In the event of a cancellation, the following policy will apply:
31 days or more prior to check-in – Full Refund
30 - 15 days prior to check-in – Cancellation will be charged for one (1) night’s stay
Less than 15 days prior to check-in – No refund
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 14 business days from the date of cancellation.
6. Modifications and No-Show Policy
a. Modifications to bookings are subject to hotel availability and may incur additional charges.
b. In case of a no-show, the booking will be considered canceled with no refund applicable.
7. Responsibilities and Liabilities
a. GMTC Australia acts as an intermediary between delegates and hotels and is not responsible for any issues arising from the hotel’s service quality, overbooking, or unforeseen circumstances.
b. GMTC Australia shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our platform.
8. Force Majeure
GMTC Australia shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government regulations, or technical failures.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
By using our platform, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be resolved amicably, failing which they shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Australian courts.
11. Amendments to Terms
GMTC Australia reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be updated on our platform and will take effect immediately.
